Job Description:

Heritage is looking to hire a confident, bilingual (Spanish) full-time insurance account manager who has a desire to help Build Better Futures for our clients.

Heritage is an insurance brokerage that focuses on educating and helping people find the best insurance policy for their needs. We accomplish our mission of Building Better Futures by finding people who are passionate about helping others become better.

This is a remote position, so it doesn't matter what state you're in! Also, an insurance license is not required to be hired.


  • Handle personal lines telephone calls of all types; resolve client matters via phone, mail, email, or text – using agency procedures.
  • Handle normal account servicing activity, including endorsements, audits, invoicing, etc. – closely following agency processes/procedures and documentation.
  • Work closely with sales department.
  • Assist marketing department with content creation (i.e. – video marketing, blog posts, etc.)
  • Collect pertinent information to keep accounts up to date, such as billing, addresses, phone numbers, and emails.
  • Help manage policy correspondence (cancellations, non-pay, renewals) and appropriately distribute all other agency correspondence.
  • Maintain knowledge of insurance products and underwriting guidelines for each company.
  • Identify opportunities to offer products and coverages to existing clients by cross-selling and up-selling.
  • Generate new lead opportunities by asking for referrals and online reviews.


  • Get property and casualty license within 3 months of being hired.
  • Get an insurance certification within 6 months of being hired (details upon hiring).
  • Ability to effectively communication - verbal and written.
  • Be able to work with technology and adapt quickly to changes.
  • Be able to effectively work under stressful situations.
  • Be able to identify issues and problem solve.
  • Be willing to come to work and compete every day.
